Jana Armer

On June 3, 2023, Coach Jana Armer will be inducted into the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame.  

“I am completely overwhelmed and thankful to have been chosen for induction into the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame,” said Coach Armer.  

“When I think of some of the names of coaches currently in the Hall of Fame, I am humbled and in awe at the thought of being added to that list alongside legends like Wayne Morgan and Mark Hudson. I have been incredibly blessed with the opportunity to coach many, many amazing players in my career, thus far, and I am beyond blessed with the best family support system. I am also grateful to have coached 29 years for the school that I love and in front of the most loyal fans in the state!”

  • 7-TIME ALL-AREA COACH OF THE YEAR

  • 2008-2009 ALL-REGION COACH OF THE YEAR

  • OCA ALL-STATE COACH

  • 5 TRIPS TO THE STATE TOURNAMENT

  • HAS COACHED 7 OGCBA ALL-STATERS and 5 OCA ALL-STATERS

“Congratulations to Coach Jana Armer on this recognition of her accomplishments!  This honor is a reflection of the years of contributing to the lives of many student-athletes,” said Clifta Fugett, Muldrow Public Schools Superintendent. 

“Coaching is so much more than the wins and losses that we see on the court and on the field.  Our coaches work tirelessly to help develop our students academically, socially, and athletically.  The Induction into the Coaching Hall of Fame represents the positive way in which Coach Armer has affected students for the past 29 years.  Thank you, Coach Armer, for all that you do and have done for the students at Muldrow School!”
