Muldrow High School Homecoming

Postponement Plan | October 15

Due to expected rainy weather, Muldrow Public School’s Homecoming parade and celebration will be rescheduled for Thursday, October 15. The rescheduled Homecoming will coincide with the scheduled home football game against Inola that evening. Our spirit days will continue this week, as well as our scheduled football game on October 2 at 7 PM.

Homecoming Parade

The Homecoming Parade will be held on Thursday, October 15, at 2 PM.

Because there is no school on October 15, we recognize that participation may be smaller than originally planned. Students who are available and would like to participate are encouraged to do so. Students should check with their sponsors regarding the availability of their float.

The parade will remain open to:

  • Homecoming royalty and attendants

  • Cheerleaders

  • Band and school organizations

  • Student groups

  • Other previously planned entries

Homecoming participants who are able to attend should report to the designated staging area. The bus barn parking lot will be available beginning at noon. Parade participants must be ready and lined up by 1:45 PM.

Homecoming Coronation

The Homecoming coronation will take place at 6 PM on October 15, in conjunction with the evening’s home football game against Inola.

The Homecoming Court will be presented, and Katie Reeves will be crowned the 2026 Muldrow High School Homecoming Queen.

All previously selected members of the Homecoming Court will retain their positions and participate in the rescheduled celebration.

Weather

The purpose of postponing Homecoming is to give our students and community an opportunity to celebrate under safer and, hopefully, more favorable weather conditions.

Weather will continue to be monitored leading up to October 15. If conditions again become unsafe for our students and community, additional information will be communicated as soon as possible.

While postponing Homecoming is not ideal, moving the celebration to October 15 gives us additional time and, hopefully, a better opportunity to celebrate with our students, families, and community.

We look forward to celebrating Homecoming with you on October 15!
